My first project at Preacher was to build upon a new positioning that my team had established for one of the oldest newspapers in Texas. At the center of one of the fastest-growing cities in the country, San Antonio Express News needed to simultaneously speak to their roots as well as where the city is headed. And when some of the country’s greatest stories are taking place in your own backyard, you’re left with a unique vantage point for reporting that blends history with a call to action for the future.
